1. Outdoor Training

Ditch the gym and take your workout outside!  Living in Chicago we have a short season to enjoy the outdoors.  So what better way than to do bodyweight circuits (pushups, pullups, squats and crunches) outside! Or just go for daily walks

2. Recovery-Centric Workouts

Recovery is the new fitness buzzword. Activities like yoga, pilates, and foam rolling are gaining popularity to help prevent injury and improve flexibility.  Here is my favorite soft tissue ball that I use every night for recovery!

3. Micro-Workouts

Short on time? Micro-workouts (5-10 minutes of high-intensity exercise) are perfect for busy schedules. Try a quick X3 workout or a brisk walk during lunch.

4. Group Fitness with a Twist

From sunrise beach yoga to hiking clubs, group activities are back—with a focus on community and mental well-being.  Check out this yoga with puppies!

This cannabis startup pioneered “rapid onset” gummies

Most people prefer to smoke cannabis but that isn’t an option if you’re at work or in public.

That’s why we were so excited when we found out about Mood’s new Rapid Onset THC Gummies. They can take effect in as little as 5 minutes without the need for a lighter, lingering smells or any coughing.

Nobody will ever know you’re enjoying some THC.

We recommend you try them out because they offer a 100% money-back guarantee. And for a limited time, you can receive 20% off with code FIRST20.

🚨 How to Stay Active Without Overdoing It

Spring motivation can sometimes lead to overexertion. Here’s how to stay active while avoiding burnout or injury:

Listen to Your Body: Recovery is just as important as exercise.  Don’t be afraid to take a day off!  Aim for 3 days a week of exercise.

Mix It Up: Alternate between lower body lifts and upper body lifts.(that is what I do)

Set Realistic Goals: Start small and gradually increase intensity or duration.

Warm Up and Cool Down: Spend 5-10 minutes stretching before and after workouts to prevent injuries.

Hydrate and Refuel: Spring temperatures can be deceiving—drink plenty of mineral water and eat nutrient-rich foods. Here are my top 10!

🧠Quick Health Hack: The 20-20-20 Rule

Spending too much time indoors on screens? Follow the 20-20-20 rule to reduce eye strain: Every 20 minutes, look at something 20 feet away for 20 seconds.
